Automated Stacker Crane
The RSC1-0100 is a single-mast stacker crane rated for 100 kg, developed for totes, cartons, and other light loads in automated high-bay storage. Its lightweight aluminum mast and high-dynamic servo drive enable horizontal travel speeds of up to 360 m/min. In facilities with frequent inbound, outbound, and picking tasks, the automated stacker crane replaces repeated manual aisle handling with controlled horizontal travel, vertical lifting, and automatic load transfer between storage locations.
The machine uses a compact architecture optimized for tote storage. Storage-cell height can be reduced to approximately 200 mm and aisle width to around 800 mm, helping increase usable storage density in constrained warehouse areas. Its modular structure supports overall heights of roughly 6 to 24 m depending on the building and rack design. Maximum load is 100 kg and positioning accuracy is ±2 mm. Fork options include clamping or plate-style designs, with single- or double-deep configurations, allowing the automated stacker crane to match different tote dimensions and storage depths.

A stacker crane project requires more than mechanical motion; electrical control, location accuracy, and warehouse scheduling must operate as a coordinated system. Rayo's smart logistics and digital systems teams include mechanical engineers, control engineers, software developers, and system integrators who can connect equipment design with control logic and site commissioning. The company's CMMI Level 3 certification supports standardized software development and integration processes for projects involving many storage locations and frequent task execution.
Before configuration is finalized, customers should provide the maximum tote weight and dimensions, clear building height, aisle length, number of rack levels, and target throughput. In brownfield automation projects, the modular machine height can be planned around the actual building rather than forcing a fixed standard size. Rayo can support requirement analysis, system design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and overseas service, with offices in the United States, Europe, Japan, and Thailand. The automated stacker crane can therefore be integrated into a complete light-load high-bay storage solution rather than treated only as a standalone machine.
