Automatic Pallet Stacking and Destacking

 

The RAPQ-0600 is designed for automatic pallet handling in conveyor and warehouse systems. It can separate pallets from a stack for individual release, or receive empty pallets and build them back into a stack. The unit is rated for a maximum load of 600 kg.

Pallet lifting and clamping are both operated pneumatically. During destacking, the mechanism holds the remaining pallets while the bottom pallet is released onto the conveyor. In stacking mode, incoming pallets are positioned and added to the stack automatically.

This Pneumatic Pallet Stacker Destacker is commonly used at warehouse infeed and outfeed points, pallet conveyor lines, production logistics areas, and other locations where empty pallets need to be supplied or collected without manual handling.

Its compact structure also makes it easier to install within an existing conveyor layout where floor space is limited.

Pallet Sizes and Working Parameters

 

The RAPQ-0600 is suitable for pallet sizes including 1200 × 1200 mm, 1000 × 1600 mm, and 1200 × 1000 mm. Other pallet dimensions can be accommodated through project-specific customization.

Standard stacking height is 1500 mm, and the standard conveyor height is 750 mm. Conveyor height can be adjusted to match the surrounding equipment.

The lifting mechanism uses pneumatic cylinders with a standard 200 mm stroke. The standard configuration includes D100 × 2 and D140 × 1 cylinders. Pallet gripping is also pneumatically controlled, using D50 × 2 cylinders with a 75 mm stroke.

The lifting and gripping mechanisms work together so that the Pneumatic Pallet Stacker Destacker can switch smoothly between pallet stacking and single-pallet release during normal conveyor operation.

The required air pressure is 0.5–0.6 MPa. The equipment is designed for operating temperatures from -10°C to 45°C and relative humidity below 85%.

Before the machine is configured, the pallet structure should be checked in detail. Important information includes pallet material, overall dimensions, bottom support arrangement, maximum stack weight, required stacking height, conveyor direction, conveyor elevation, and available compressed-air supply.

Pallet construction can vary even when the nominal length and width are the same. For this reason, the actual lifting and gripping contact areas should be confirmed during the technical review to ensure reliable handling.

The pneumatic and mechanical components are arranged in a relatively straightforward layout, making routine inspection and maintenance easier. Typical maintenance work mainly involves the cylinders, connecting parts, gripping mechanism, and other moving components.
