Rail Travel and Onboard Conveying in One Mobile Unit

 

The RRVZ-0250(LT/GT) is a rail-guided transport vehicle with an onboard conveyor mechanism. It travels along a fixed rail between logistics stations and transfers pallets after reaching the target position.

Once the vehicle completes positioning, the onboard roller or chain conveyor exchanges the load with the connected station. This combines rail travel and pallet transfer within one mobile device.

The Conveyor Rail Guided Vehicle is suitable for workshop material movement, automated warehouse inbound and outbound connections, multi-station distribution, and repeated point-to-point transportation along a fixed route.

It is particularly relevant where several conveyor interfaces are distributed along one rail and materials need to move repeatedly between these fixed stations.

3 m/s Unloaded Travel with ±2 mm Positioning

 

Maximum load capacity is 250 kg. Standard supported pallet sizes include 1200 × 1200 mm, 1000 × 1600 mm, and 1200 × 1000 mm. Pallet dimensions can also be customized.

Communication can use optical communication or wireless communication.

The travel system uses an asynchronous servo drive with a power rating of 4.4 kW.

Maximum unloaded speed is 3 m/s with acceleration of 1 m/s². Under load, maximum speed is 2 m/s with acceleration of 1 m/s².

Positioning accuracy is ±2 mm, while precise positioning takes 2 seconds. These parameters allow the Conveyor Rail Guided Vehicle to align with individual conveyor stations before transferring the pallet.

Roller or Chain Transfer at Each Station

 

The onboard conveying system can use rollers or a straight-plate roller chain.

Standard conveying speed is 18 m/min, with a 0.25 kW conveyor motor.

Once the RGV reaches the required station, the pallet can move directly between the vehicle and the connected conveyor. This reduces the need for manual pallet exchange after the vehicle stops.

The working temperature range is -10°C to 45°C, with relative humidity below 85%.

During project planning, buyers should confirm pallet dimensions, maximum load, effective rail length, number of stopping stations, conveying height at each interface, communication method, and material transfer direction.

Because the route is fixed, rail length and station distribution should be planned together with the required logistics cycle.
